His Holiness the 17th Gyalwa Karmapa, Trinley Thaye Dorje, Head of the Karma Kagyu School of Tibetan Buddhism visited the Stupa and gave the Empowerment into White Tara, the female aspect for Long Life and Will Power, to an audience of 1400 people from all over the world. The great event was also attended by Lama Jigme Rinpoche and Lama Ole Nydahl. The 7th of June was especially auspicious for buddhists all around the world: it was the Anniversary of the historical Buddha Sakyamuni's Enlightenment and Mahaparanirvana.

Jamgon Kongtrul Rinpoche gave the Empowerment into the Buddha of Long Life "Amitayus". Beru Khyenste Rinpoche gave the Empowerment into the Buddha of Prosperity and Wealth "Dzambala".

The Stupa was distinguished with two important prices on the 3rd edition of prices in the province of Malaga by the Financiera y Minera Arquitectura Construccion de Malaga.
In the category of the most unique work done in Malaga, the technical team led by architect Wojtek Kossowski was selected with the project of the Stupa for the 1st price.
In the category of economical development and social unique activities the 1st price from Malaga province was also granted to the Stupa.
